The programming line-up includes the flagship Business Breakfast, which was the winner of the International Radio Conference Breakfast Show of the Year, 2006/2007. The Arabian Radio Network (ARN) was launched in September 2001. The network’s first project was Al Arabiya 98.9, an around-the-clock Arabic music and news station that proved to be an instant hit, changing the airwaves of Dubai forever. But that was just the start. Hot on the heels of Al Arabiya was the launch of ARN’s second station, Free FM. This was the young radio network’s first foray into targeting Dubai’s native English-speaking audience and again it was an immediate success, readily embraced by the Emirate’s large Western expatriate community. Today, ARN boasts seven radio stations namely, Al Arabiya 99; Al Khaleejiya 100.9; City 101.6; Virgin Radio Dubai 104.4; Hit 96.7; Dubai 92 and of course Dubai Eye 103.8.
